Two people were injured in an I-70 rollover accident on Saturday. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, “Twenty-two year old Amber Nicole Vasey of Fredrick, Colorado was driving a Toyota Tacoma eastbound on I-70 at mile post 207 when it drifted off of the left side of the roadway, into the median.
Vasey over-corrected the vehicle to the right, then back to the left, causing it to roll. She was trapped in the vehicle and was extricated by the Wilson Fire Department. She was transported to a Wichita hospital. A passenger in the vehicle, George Christopher Gilbert, age 24, of Fredrick, Colorado was transported to Ellsworth Medical Center. Both were wearing seat belts.”
