Between 3 and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, a 30-year-old Salina resident in the 2200 block of Wesley Street noticed her vehicle missing from the driveway of her home.

After phoning a few family members and friends to see if someone she knew had taken the vehicle, she found that an unknown suspect likely stole the white 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Salina Police Department (SPD) Capt. James Feldman said the victim reported the stolen vehicle to SPD officers on Tuesday, April 30.

"Not sure how they got it because the victim had all their keys for the vehicle," said Salina Police Department Capt. James Feldman. "The vehicle was valued at $25,000, and there were no other distinguishing marks or damage on the vehicle."

Feldman said the report stated that the victim had all her vehicle keys accounted for but did not state if the Tahoe was unlocked when the unknown suspect stole it.

SPD officers continue to investigate the case. There are no suspects at this time.

Salina Post will update this story as more information becomes available.
